In this video I show how I installed the Borla Cat-Back exhaust system on my 2000 Dodge VIper GTS ACR.
Sounds much better and deeper than the OEM exhaust in person.
I’ll be posting sound clips of the exhaust with some new recording equipment soon!
Next DIY will be Energy Suspension Poly Urethane Suspension bushings on the ACR

If I ever get a viper it’ll definitely be a GTS. By far the best looking in my opinion

Have fun with the bushing install. I didn’t.
Do you have the 4 muffler or 2 muffler Borla? I’ve got the 2 and, while it sounds good, there’s quite a bit of drone.

Yeah I am not looking forward to installing the bushings but I know it will be worth the effort!
My Borla is the 2-muffler system. Like you said quite a bit of drone with the windows up but its not like its my daily driver so no big deal!

Same here. I haven’t driven mine in a while...I need to get it out this weekend.
I still need to tackle fixing my a/c, that was supposed to be my winter project and I haven’t touched it yet. Depending on my tax return/bonus, springtime headers?
Edit, just watched the video...agree with you on the fitment, it was a bitch to try to get everything lined up. The tips on mine are still slightly off-center, I need to screw with the hangers some more. Unfortunately with the striped cars like ours, it really stands out when it’s misalinged.

Yeah I might look into the Corsa at some point. Still waiting to hear one in person though!
Also want to start saving for a GEN V ACR to add to the stable so that should keep me from modding the hell out of this car lol
